Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the 75th anniversary of Schroedinger’s ‘What is Life?’ lectures, which were celebrated with a major conference in Dublin 4-6 September. Part of the conference included a poetry event, in which a poem of mine was read by Paula Murphy. I was delighted and honoured that the poem (The White Dove, previously published in FourXFour) could be included in the event, despite my inability to be there myself.
